Deep Current is an algorithmic reverb built on an 8-line Feedback Delay Network. The FDN uses a Hadamard mixing matrix and modulated delay lines to build up natural, diffuse reverberation — the way sound actually bounces and blurs inside physical spaces, without the static quality of convolution.

The signal chain includes pre-diffusion, early reflections with LFO-modulated spin, an input diffusion stage, and a modulated chorus inside the reverb tank to prevent the metallic resonances that plague simpler FDN designs. A soft limiter at the output handles transient spikes cleanly so you never need a limiter after it.

Space sets room size and tail length from tight booths to eight-second cathedral decays. Tone shapes the frequency character of the tail from dark and warm to bright and airy. Width controls the stereo spread of the reverb field. Switch between Insert and Return workflow modes with a single button — the transition is click-free even during a live tail.

• Width control

  Adjusts the stereo spread of the reverb field from fully mono to a wide, immersive image — without phase issues when summed to mono.
• Insert & Return workflow modes

  Insert mode blends dry and wet using the Mix control. Return mode outputs 100% wet for aux send routing. Switching is click-free mid-tail.
• Dual input/output metering

  Separate peak and RMS meters on both input and output with colour-coded zones and clip indicators, so gain staging is always visible at a glance.
• 50 factory presets

  Five categories — small spaces, medium halls, large spaces, special effects, and musical genres — fully editable and saveable as user presets that travel with your session file.
