In Auto mode, Wavebender Wah reads your playing dynamics and sweeps a resonant wah filter to match. Soft notes stay near heel-down, harder attacks push toward the top of the sweep, and the Wah knob sets how far up it can go. Touch sets how sensitive and how fast it responds, from slow, vocal sweeps to snappy funk quack.

Switch to Freeze and the filter parks wherever you put it, from heel-down to toe-down, for that fixed “cocked wah” midrange tone. Range picks a classic 350 Hz to 1.9 kHz sweep or a wider 250 Hz to 2.5 kHz throw, and Character chooses a narrow, nasal Vintage voice or a smoother, wider Modern one.

Mix blends the filtered and dry signals. The default keeps the body of your guitar under the sweep, push it up for a more vocal, pronounced wah, or pull it back to keep a bass line solid. A live sweep display shows exactly where the filter sits, with a Hz readout and a trigger light that flashes on every attack.

• Auto mode

  Your picking dynamics drive the sweep. Light playing stays dark and close to heel-down, while digging in throws the wah wide open.
• Freeze mode

  Park the wah at any point in its travel for a fixed, vocal midrange tone. 0% is heel-down, 100% is toe-down.
• Touch

  One knob for sensitivity and speed. Higher settings open on soft picking and snap back fast; lower settings need harder playing and sweep more smoothly.
• Range and Character

  Vintage or Wide sweep range, and a narrow, nasal Vintage voice or a smoother Modern one, in any combination.
• Mix control

  Blend filtered and dry signal to taste, from a subtle sweep that keeps your tone intact to a fully filtered, vocal wah.
• Live sweep display

  See the filter position, resonance and frequency in real time, with a trigger light for every attack.
